Supply Crate
A block that appears underground containing helpful gear for mining.
It also produces glow-in-the-dark sparkles to help locate it in caves.
Generation
Appears anywhere at any height on top of the following blocks: Deepslate, Tuff, Slightly Mossy Cobblestone, Andesite, Granite, and Diorite. Notably, not on Stone. This makes Supply Crates more common in the Deepslate level.
7 Supply Crates attempt to generate per chunk, but only about ~3 on average successfully appear per chunk.
Loot
The Supply Crate drops items from 3 different pools at once.
The first pool drops 2 items from the following list:
- 24-48 Ropes
- 5-8 Bombs
- 1 Golden Bomb
- 6-12 Torches
- 16 Blue Glowsticks
- 24-30 Green Glowsticks
- 12-20 Pink Glowsticks
- 20-25 Arrows
- 6-20 Throwing Bricks
- 6-10 Reinforced Throwing Bricks
- 2-5 Emeralds
The second pool drops 1 item from the following:
- Cake
- Iron pickaxe (Enchanted from 0-10 levels)
- Any color of Glowstick Dispenser
- 18 Glow Berries
- 1 Empty Bucket
- 1-2 Mushroom Soup
- 1 Fire Charge
- 1 Crafting Table
- 5-15 Plant Meal
The third pool drops 1 item from the following:
- Amulet Of Hurt
- Opal Magnet
- Empty Map
- Name Tag
- Ender Music Disc
- Red Box
- TNT
- Empty Lootbag
- Ball Of Compressed Cardboard
Decorative Crate
Breaking the Supply Crate with a Silk Touch tool will drop its decorative variant that acts as a normal block.
It doesn't come with the sparkles.
